Email Address already in Use in Scoutbook

I am trying to update an existing members account in ScoutBook with their proper e-mail address. When I try to change the e-mail address to the correct e-mail address it says that e-mail address is already in use by another account. However when I go to add a new leader and search that e-mail address no existing accounts come up. What can be done to correct this issue?

I have the same issue with a Parent, which changed her email address but would like to change it back to the original email address but now can’t because “email address already in use in Scoutbook.”

I have a similar problem:
I have a parent with two accounts, one with the correct e-mail address but no BSA#, and the other with a dummy e-mail address and the correct BSA#. I can’t update either piece of information in either account because it is already ‘in use’. I can’t delete either account because they are connected to a Scout. If I disconnect them from the Scout, I have no way to access the account to delete it!

Is there some way to edit parent profile information when not connected to a Scout?

Hope you can help. I guess there is no one solution. I have a similar problem. I have an adult leader in Scoutbook with changemyemail@scoutbook.com as his email address. His profile has his BSA number associated with it. In My.Scouting Unit member manager he has his correct email address and first Name Nilolas and full middle name. Using add a leader I searched his last name and found him listed a Nick no middle name and added him. This instance had his correct email address but has no BSA number. How do I fix this?
Second unrelated I seem to have lost the ability to start a post.

@DonovanMcNeil or @JenniferOlinger can correct me if I am wrong, but I belive these issues need to have some specific information collected on the accounts and be sent to Scoutbook support which now goes through Council. There is a fair bit of account information that is only able to be edited with access above the user or unit level.
