I’ve been the advancement chair for my Pack for the last “too many to count” years. I’ve used Packmaster since it was a floppy disk. A few years ago, I started uploading our monthly advancement report to ScoutBook/Internet Advancement/ScoutBook + because our council had downsized to the point that the designated person for uploading from the submitted Advancement Reports was let go, and nothing was going up to National.
In November 2024, I was not able to upload my report, as the hotlink was grayed out. As of today (April 23, 2025) the hotlink is still grayed out. I can go in and directly update every Cub’s advancment, but can’t do an upload of the information.
We’ve got a new Cubmaster and Committee Chair, but their positions were updated last May when the previouse people stepped down. Our recharter took place in October/November, and I’m still registered as a member of the committee. The only thing I haven’t chased down is if the charter removed me as the Advancement Chair, but I don’t have the ability to check that myself.
Typically, recharter has reset functional positions in the past, as will any lapse in registration (e.g. delay in processing recharter or individual registration). You can check whether the functional position is assigned to you or not in my.scouting. My functional role appears right below my registered roles in the My Profile interface at my.scouting
If you are no longer showing up as Advancement Chair, the CM & CC should be able to fix this in the Function Roles tab of the Position Manager at my.scouting. It typically takes 24-48 hours for the functional role to propagate out to the other systems. You may have to log out and back in after it propagates to see it (since roles are seem like they are cached sometimes). The CM/CC should also be able to see the upload button as not grayed-out if it’s working correctly (and they’re registered correctly).

Yes, that’s where I would upload the Packmaster file for my Cub Scout pack. I’m also a member of the committee for both the girl troop and the boy troop. We’re all linked with the three-digit number 383.

My Profile shows me as a committee member, but not specifically Advancement Chair. I’ll contact the CM and CC and see if they can make that change.
