I think @Matt.Johnson is making the point that, if you look at the numbers, it looks like a bug exists on how YPT and training percentage is being calculated (even though it doesn’t per se).
In the example above:
- Adults Registered is 13
- Number of YPT current is 7
- YPT percentage current is 100% (i.e. 7/7)
- Number fully position-trained is 6 out of 7
- Position-trained percentage is 85.71% (i.e. 6/7)
I’d be confused by those numbers, too, if I hadn’t seen @RonaldBlaisdell’s explanation of what’s going on. :^)
I tend to agree that it seems like the presence of adult partners in the “registered” count will be confusing for those with access to the reports, particularly in light of the landing-page announcement at my.scouting that adult partners will no longer be listed in the roster of registered leaders.
ETA: Maybe the “extra field” clarifies how many people are “registered” in unit-level non-scouter positions?
I’m not quite sure what to call people who have a position listed in a registration database but aren’t required to complete YPT, so I kinda converged on “non-scouter”. I usually say “non-registered adult”, only these adults are (for certain definitions) registered, just not as scouters.
