Trained Parent Not Showing as Leader in Scoutbook

A member of our Pack has completed all the necessary leader training items yet they are still not showing up in Scoutbook as such. #14710719. Can you please verify what if anything is missing and help get them in our Pack as a leader.

Has the individual submitted an adult scouter application? Are they appearing in your official roster in a registered scouter position at my.scouting.org?

I’m certain that They did submit the application , but no they aren’t in the trained leader roster.

@AimeeLehman

There is no adult leader registration for this individual.

That’s not quite the question I was asking.

Once an adult’s registered unit scouter (e.g. DL) application is processed, they should appear in the official roster at my.scouting with that registered position. Unit Key 3 and Key 3 Delegates can see that roster when they log in at my.scouting.

24-48 hours later, you should expect them to appear in Scoutbook and SB+ on the registered scouter rosters.

I’ll have to double check with the person. They had spoken to our counsil rep whom said all the appropiate paperwork was submitted but we still aren’t seeing them in the roster as a leader. Only as a parent. Thank you.

Your council might be waiting on the criminal background check (CBC) to be completed.

@AimeeLehman - I think Jennifer is on to something with the CBC, and if that comes back not clean then they will not be added as a leader.

According to our council rep all the appropriate training/background checks/application were completed and cleared.

@AimeeLehman

There is no registration for that indvidual in the system. The last entry is a Tiger Cub Adult Partner which expired 5/31/23. YPT was taken 11/21/23 and expires 11/21/25. There no other individuals with that name in the BSA membership database.
