Connected to a scout for Cooking MB but get error when I try to go in to sign off on requirements

I connected to a new scout I am working on the Cooking merit badge with. When I go into this scouts connection it will not allow me to access his profile to sign off on requirements. It’s showing we are connected, but when I click on his name this message shows up:

Whoops! We encountered an error trying to process your request.

Please go to https://discussions.scouting.org/c/scoutbook/bugs to report this issue.

This message is coming up no matter what scout I click on. My adult registration and my Merit Badge Counselor application is up to date as is my YPT training so I shouldn’t be denied access for any of those reasons.

Any insight? Thank you in advance!

Please use My Merit Badge Counseling instead of going through My Connections.

That is not showing anywhere in either Legacy or SB+ - only My Profile, My connections, My Activity Log, My Training, My Payment Log, and My Favorite Videos under legacy. SB+ Only shows Reports, Profile, Forum, and Resources. There’s nothing even showing even on roster for anything to do with MBC - only my troop which I’m committee/AC for.

You should see it in Scoutbook (legacy) on My Dashboard:

Even in your screen shot, I do not see anything saying “My merit badge counseling”

My account, Quick entry for MB counselor, Edit Merit Badges for MB Counselor, Print blue cards, send message, and MC in progress are the only things showing in your screenshot - so did you mean something different?

@NicoleBarton “My Merit Badge Counseling” is the name of the module in Scoutbook (legacy). It’s the part in the black line above “Quick Entry for MB Counselors”.

Depending on what you are trying to do, you should go through one of the functions in “My Merit Badge Counseling” (for example: “Edit Merit Badges for MB Counselors”) instead of trying to go through a Scout’s Connections.

@NicoleBarton- perhaps a screen share can help. You can email me sjhjr@comcast.net
