Connecting a Scout to the parent

I connected a parent to his scout and then submitted paperwork to the scoutstore so that the parent could become a leader. Now I have two accounts for the parent (sort of). The parent doesn’t show up on my roster 2 times but the parent that is attached to the scout does not have an bsa id number while the parent that is on my roster does.

What should I have the parent do to connect these two weird accounts?

Send an e-mail to scoutbook.support@scouting.org with the adult’s name, BSA#, council and unit. Explain there are 2 IDs for this parent and ask that they be merged.
