Cub Scout is and is not Den Member in Scoutbook Plus and Scoutbook

In Scoutbook, one of our Bears is listed as not in a den in our roster, but when I click on the den, he is in the den group.

In Scoutbook Plus, he is showing grouped with his den, but in “Position” he is listed as a “Youth Member” but not a “Den Member.”

I have never seen this before.

@AshleyWorth - in scoutbook.scouting.org check the membership section for that scout to be certain that there are not 2 current memberships. I suspect there is one noted as youth member which can be end dated if there is one for the den.

Yes, he does have two memberships in scoutbook.scouting.org. They are identical. Any idea why this happened? He was one of the first to renew his membership under the new parent-pay system.

@AshleyWorth - it is entirely possible as there is a member sync that happens. what do those memberships show ?

They seem to be identical-- same number of membership days (355), rank advancement, awards, parent info, etc.

@AshleyWorth what is the BSA # or Scoutbook User ID?

Both accounts are the same numbers.

@AshleyWorth sounds like the scout has 2 memberships - the easiest is to go to scoutbook.scouting.org and put an end date on one membership

I don’t see where I can end his membership in Scoutbook.

@AshleyWorth you just put an end date - I did it for you

@AshleyWorth - if you click on the membership line for the scout this will pop-up

Thank you for your help!
