This seems similar to Den Chiefs missing from pack roster
We have a Den Chief that is assigned and approved to a Den, as shown in the Scoutbook Roster:
Their position is approved in Scoutbook:
ScoutUserID=2435796
UserPositionID=30663255
UnitID=8503
However, when looking at the Roster in IA, they don’t show up.

They don’t show up as an option when trying to add them to an event, either:
Their position needs to be approved by the troop, too.

I resolved our pack’s issue by asking a troop admin for the Den Chief’s troop to approve the position.
Some troop admins are more ScoutBook savvy than others. It may pay to ask more than one.
@Bagheera so did the pack add the DC Position? Or did the Troop?

I’ve been told that the position was created and approved by the Troop, and I know that it’s been approved by the Pack.
Is there any way I can check what the missing approval is? Or is there any other thing that might be off?
@MrM the position is not approved by troop - the “No” is the approval status

Great, thanks for checking! I reached out to the Troop again and they approved (for real this time!)
