So I have a parent that registered to be a Den Leader and we have been having some issues getting him accessing SB.
Timeline of events:
6/30/24 - His son registers as a new Lion Cub. Father’s MID is 140972210
9/20/2024 - He completes YPT in preparation for applying to be a DL. The MID on his YPT is 141208198. I believe he used Google Sign-in to access my.scouting.org.
9/30/24 - Registered as a Den Leader.
10/21/24 - Asked for help to merge his two MIDs here on discussion board
11/11/24 - He logs into SB using Google Sign-in and has a message that says another user is using the same email address. Same name but shows a picture of someone else from a completely different council but has the same BSA MID. Instructed him to use credentials from my.scouting.org, cannot recover them. Says record could not be located using his email address. Resent him the invite from SB, same issue.
He seems to be able to access his account using the SB app and Google Sign-in but I want him to use the proper leader tools available from using the web version. He can’t login using anything other than Google Sign-in and that takes him to someone else’s account, but the same BSA MID.
