Den leader unable to award items in SB+

Still nothing. I get an error screen that says, “You don’t have access to this trail.”

@TamDuong - did your key 3 make the changes as noted in the document??

A Key 3 member needs to give you additional permissions because the Assistant Cubmaster does not have much authority. See Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video for more details.

I am having a similar issue where I am unable to award some adventures. I get this pop-up (attached below). Checked with our advancements chair and he has updated PO/purchase records on his end. Not sure what more I can do? Member ID # 140960138

@LaurenOutlaw what is the Scout Member # (no names) and what exact item?

I am experiencing this with all of my scouts, but we could use my son’s profile for an example - Member ID: 141002612 he still needs Tigers in the Wild, Summertime Fun, and Safe & Smart to be marked as “awarded.”

Generally, I have been able to award Tiger Bites and Tiger’s Roar for all of my cubs, but the other 3 (listed above) and Bobcat cannot be marked as “awarded” by me. My son only has Bobcat as “awarded” because my advancement chair went in and said he has no PO/purchasing error message pop-up when he went in…

@LaurenOutlaw only thing you will hear is from the Change log if/when it is resolved. I would make sure the items are not on a PO personally and not take others word for it - see it.

This is the same error our den leader is getting. I’m advancement chair and there are no open POs. Unfortunately he has no options for quick award or approval to try that way to award.

I too have the same problem. My Member # is: 141216168. I’ve been a den leader for over a year and have been able to update advancements for my den until this week when I went to make more updates.

My.scouting lists me as Den Leader, Tiger Den Leader and Unit Training Coordinator. Scoutbook doesn’t show me rosters or anything. SB+ shows me as a den admin but there is no roster menu button on the left.

My key 3 members were trying to update my roles in my.scouting to see if that helped, but kept getting “Person in lapsed position can not be expired”.

I’m not sure how all this fits together, but I would like to get this resolved quickly as we have our winter award ceremony coming up in a few weeks.

It looks like there were software updates being pushed at the time I was looking and my Key 3 were making changes. When I checked again this morning all access has been resolved.
