I know scouts need to have calendar permissions from the new scoutbook permissions, but I am unclear on if the “leadership” role of calendar editor in old scoutbook is interacting with that anymore. When granting or removing permissions do we need to adjust the calendar editor in old scoutbook? Should we end date all calendar editors in old scoutbook or will that affect the new permissions currently? When updating permissions for scouts, do we do anything with calendar editor in old scoutbook?
@EmilyRepperger- this line in the blue box above applies
Therefore, Scoutbook Plus does not use Legacy Scoutbook positions
@Stephen_Hornak what blue box?
So the scouting forums box is not showing up anywhere for me. However it doesn’t answer what I am talking about because my.scouting.org does not have leadership roles for scouts, so the only place the scouts get their leadership roles is from old scoutbook right now. Correct? or am I missing something. Unless I am missing something, that does have to be picked up from old scout book. I don’t think calendar is looking at the permissions in old scoutbook (calendar editor) but is there any “syncing” process running that adjusts between calendar editor being set or removed in old scoutbook and the permission settings for the scouts (not adults).
@EmilyRepperger- scout leadership roles are in scoutbook plus now.
Okay so I did miss the plus there. Okay I will assume changes made in scoutbook legacy will not hurt anything configured in the new system then.
@EmilyRepperger- i would not do anything with that in legacy scoutbook
