Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
We have an Assistant Scoutmaster and Parent with duplicate BSA IDs. She cannot log into Scoutbook under either set of credentials. We suspect her BSA IDs need to be merged so she can login using her my.scouting.org username/password
The BSA IDs are:
134890402 (the ID that is listed under the unit she is registered with)
12022038 (this ID includes personal information but not YPT, so likely an old number that is the one causing problems.)
In principle, the adult can “combine” their BSA IDs at my.scouting.org under the left side menu using Manage Member ID. Likely, the “leader” ID has to be set as the primary. It took some time for everything to sync up when I had to do this, but that was awhile ago.
She has a my.scouting.org account under an @yahoo.com email - can she use forgot password to re-obtain her password? And the 2nd ID has the most current ypt
I also made one adjustment so she should get to the SB User she needs with her my.scouting.org log in
