Edit Scoutbook+

Is there a way to edit ScoutBook+? or maybe refresh?

the reason is that I entered merit badges into ScoutBook+ not in date sequence, and as a result it appears to have filled merit badges into advancement in that order, not taking into account when the merit badges were actually earned in date sequence. I would like to either, be able to edit manually the merit badges and move around as they were actually earned or delete/then input again or somehow “refresh” that would reset the badges in order. thanks Dan Good 912-222-1349

@DanielGood not following what you are trying to say. When you enter a date in the SB system it is supposed to be the date that MB was earned.

Could also be how you have filters set up.

Thank you for responding. I put the merit badge earned date in correctly, what i didn’t realize was that when I inputed the merit badges in SB+ it auto-populated automatically in advancements. I did most recent merit badges in first, then worked back in date on merit badges. It was my mistake, after summer camp i uploaded all the badges then worked back before camp, and it autofilled the merit badges in advancements (star, life, etc.) by exactly in order of how i inputed, not sorted by earned date. What i should’ve done is input oldest earned badges first, then worked up to current date but i didn’t. as a result, it put newest merit badges earned in ranks (star) and the older merit badges in life & Eagle. lesson learned, I should have had merit badges inputed before camp. I don’t want to change the “earned date” I just want to edit the merit badges in correct order by rank( if you understand what i’m saying). I jacked it up, but just want to be able to edit the merit badges for the appropriate rank advancement..

As you enter dates, they should rearrange appropriately in ranks once final MB date is entered and the MB is approved.

OK, let me look at that closer, i’ll play around with it. is there a way to see what merit badges populated the ranks? i can’t even figure out how to view what badges for each advancement..

Only Eagle has named MBs applied to rank - otherwise it is just a count like this.

I’m sorry, last question.. Like in this example.. how can you tell the 4 eagle required and 2 other merit badges.. what are they? I don’t see drop-down or details

@DanielGood you do not need to know. If you want you look at Merit badges for scout and go 1-2-3-4, that is your choice. That simple. These counts will be green if good Red if there is an issue.

Ok, let me play around with it..I just need to get more familiar with the program. If i can’t figure it out tonight/tomorrow, i’ll reach back out to to this forum for RD2
