Extra Account

I have two accounts and would like to delete one. They are in the same council. I contacted my council registrar and she confirmed that there are two, but said she couldn’t delete the extra. She said she removed my email address from one so that I don’t get duplicate emails of reminders of YPT, etc. Last year this caused an issue because I was told I had not done my YPT. I actually had done it under my other account, but the extra account showed not completed. Can anyone help remove the extra account?

BSA member numbers cannot be merged, they can only be managed (Manage Member ID at my.scouting). Your BSA member numbers have been managed and the correct one is set as “primary”. Your training should be copied onto your primary BSA member number within about 24 hours.

I have merged your Scoutbook accounts.

Would you pls help to combine 137242125 and 137257061, her profile name was set one is all Captial letter and the other was not. The all capital letter account is her current leader account but her other record is with the old ID number. many thx.

I have another leader who has 3 accounts list as follow 13751935,12582194 & 13667847, would need your help to combine, it too.

Another parent, 2 accounts, 136850073 and 13705261 needed to be combined. Many thanks ,

This is fixed. She should log in with her my.scouting username – not her e-mail address.

I found a fourth BSA member number, but 12582194 is the primary.

I would recommend contacting the local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up his child (or children). In the Relationships" section, he should only be listed as parent under BSA member ID number 12582194. They should remove him if he is listed under any other BSA numbers. Otherwise, his BSA numbers might get switched at Recharter, and a new Scoutbook account might get created.

Thanks very much. It’s odd that the system would even allow two accounts to be created under one email address. Isn’t that something the programmers can set up so this doesn’t happen?

thank you very much, will follow up with the council.
