Finding MB Partial info for Transferred Scout

I am Advancement Coordinator for our Troop.

We have a Scout that recently transferred from another Troop in our Council.

I see in his Scoutbook record that he has 5 open merit badges with partial completions. I am trying to find out which requirements are still remaining.

What is the best way to find out this information?

@SuzanneDreifuss - you could open each merit badge or use report builder to get the list of reqs and what is done or not done. In the troop page go to reports > then merit badge in progress report. You can select the merit badges showing progress.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and help me out!
Your response got me on the right path, though, I didn’t have the options/pathway that you mentioned.

For future benefit, I was able to go to “Reports” and then under the Advancement Reports there is a “Scouts BSA History Report”. You can run that report by Scout name and at the very bottom of it, requirements completed for partials are listed there by merit badge.

@SuzanneDreifuss - you are very welcome and glad you found a way to get the info you need. You might want to dig around the reports section to see what else could be of value. Beyond that it may help if the unit made you a unit admin for more access.

@SuzanneDreifuss What is the Scout’s member ID number? It is possible that the Scout has a duplicate account issue.
