I am an Assistant Scoutmaster within a Troop that is, geographically, located to about 5 of 6 councils (including our own). In fact, we have a number of scouts within our Troop who live outside of our council. The difficulty I am experiencing is that when I search for Merit Badge Counselor within Scoutbook, I only have the option to see those within my council or include worldwide outside of Council. However, including the Worldwide outside of Council does not show counselors in the neighboring councils. Since our Troop is so close to other councils, I would to know of a way to see Merit Badge counselors in the neighboring districts as there would be a significant number that are physically closer to the boys in our troop than those within our own council. Is there a way in Scoutbook to see Merit Badge counselors in neighboring councils?

@AlanShay - the visibility of counselors is set by the counselors themselves. You can try searching for me as an example of a counselor set to worldwide. Additionally you may want to limit your search to a specific merit badge. I did drafting, worldwide, any distance and it picked up 6 pages from NJ where I am to Washington State.
