I have been our Troop’s Advancement Chair for the past three years. I logged in today to add new merit badges and ranks, but have been denied access. I do not have the option to change from my personal account to the Advancement Chair account. How do I get this option back?
Each year, the Key 3 have to re-designate an individual as Unit Advancement Chair in the Organizational Security Manager at my.scouting. Being designated in Scoutbook (scoutbook.com) does not carry-over to IA2 (scoutbook.scouting.org). I’ve also seen designations lapse if a leader gets out of compliance on YPT, and the designation had to be reapplied after YPT was renewed.
