Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I am Committee Chair. Many of our Scouts are on a March 1st renewal, because they have been around for a few a few years and so were with the Pack when everyone renewed on March 1st. The way it works now for us (maybe everyone?) is that each Scout (or their parent) gets an email prompting them to log into Scoutbook and renew for the year.
Can I get a notification when someone renews? I am trying to track the renewals so I know who to follow up with to get it done. So I’m repeatedly going into the Roster and checking everyone’s Renewal Status in Scouting.org. It would be much better for me if I could enable a notification, so that I would get an email any time someone renews.
Thank you for the link and for pointing out the most relevant questions. It seems it is monthly. I have gotten monthly emails; I had forgotten about those. But so close to their expiration dates, I was hoping for something more frequent. Plus, I think those emails only list who is expiring; I dont think it lists who recently renewed.
I’m not going to ask my Council. I already have 2 or 3 other questions for which it’s been weeks since I’ve been told “we’ll get back to you soon with an answer.”
