Greyed out Privilege Levels in Connections Manager

I’m using Connections Manager to alter the privilege levels of adults. With some adult/scout combinations, I can’t move the privilege, the option is greyed out. Why?

Without member ID numbers to check, most likely these are parents, who always have Full Control permissions to their own child(ren) or they are Admins. Admins have Full Control permissions to all Scouts in the troop (Troop Admins) or patrol (Patrol Admins).

For a “View Advancement/View Profile” combination (where you can only uncheck but not “increase” to edit/Full Control), I would suspect the adult isn’t a registered scouter, and therefore can’t be given “Edit” permissions.

@JenniferOlinger No, they are Assistant Scoutmasters. SB User ID: 4992372 | Member ID: 136315643

@EricRoberts5 What level permissions are you trying to give them?

Or what is Scout ID# that is showing Grey? and what is greyed?

@EricRoberts5 - i think a screen share can be helpful as this may just be a mis-understand of what is being viewed

@EricRoberts5 This user has 2 member ID (MID) numbers in council 092:

136315643 - Registrations as an adult leader
140989571

Please ask the local council to use their Registrar Tools to look up the user’s child with first initial “W.” In the “Relationships” tab / section, the user should be removed as parent under MID 140989571. Then the user should be added as parent under his primary MID 136315643.
