Guardian with two e-mails

I’m the CC and I sent a Scoutbook invitation to the legal guardian (grandparent) of one of our Cubs. They were trying to login to Scoutbook and were having all kinds of problems. They show as connected in Scoutbook, but I cannot open their profile in Scoutbook Plus (I get a “user does not have access to this API” error and all fields show “undefined”).

Initially, they got a incorrect password error. I directed them to my.scouting.org for a password reset. They said they weren’t getting the reset e-mail. After using the chatbot, they realized that they had previously set up an account using a no-longer-accessible when another (several years older) grandchild was in Scouting.

How can they update the old account to the new e-mail address so they can connect with their younger grandchild?

Scout’s MID is 14150927.
I cannot tell what the adult’s MID is, but I have both of their e-mail addresses.
