I’m our packs primary Scoutbook ADMIN and the unit advancement chair.
Our Pack’s Cubmaster was a scout parent for 2 years before taking on an official position as Den Leader. When he submitted the adult app, they didn’t state he already had a BSA ID and a second account was created and we need these merged. The “official one” on record looks jacked up with his address where he grew up and assigned the wrong council. He and his wife have contacted our council to get these merged with no luck.
Thanks you Donovan. I have asked him to login and make sure all is good. It looks good from my end other than his address on his profile page, but I can ask him to correct that as needed.
I will probably have more requests of this as well. We have a few like this.
I am also the Advancement Chair and primary admin of a Troop as well and we have some of the same issues. I am sure I will be hitting you up again. Thanks so much for the help.
Here is another one in our pack. Same situation - scout dad who had an account and BSA ID number later became officially a leader and now has two accounts. He cant’ update the new account with his email because it’s “already in use.” We need these accounts merged, please:
Old dad account: BSA ID 13058907 UserID 1792267
New leader account: BSA ID 12712644 UserID 10019673
@DonovanMcNeil thank you again sir. I think we have two more in the troop to merge and I am waiting for them to verify they can login to my.scouting before I merge their accounts.
