Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I have a mom in my troop who ended up with 2 my.scouting accounts. The one that is linked to get Scout gives an error when she tries to log in, so she created another one.
When i had her try to link the initial account with the new account, it gave her an error that the Provided member ID does not match the existing user profile.
Googling indicates i need to come here to get help merging the accounts. The original ID is 141631157. The new ID is 141651052.
Can someone help our do I need to contact our council?
@DavidParker7 Usernames (logins) and member ID numbers are different things.
If you want us to keep the original username, we can do that. However, she needs to use member ID number 141631157, because that’s the one with her parent / child “relationships” at my.Scouting.
The reason a second member ID number was created is because he dates of birth are slightly different between the two.
