Help with scout transfer

I am trying to transfer a scout from another pack (same council). It turns out that the child was not included on the previous pack’s charter so he has now been dropped. I have been told that the family has to reregister the scout - how do they do this if they already have a BSA ID for the child?

What is the Scouts BSA number? One of the parents is probably connected and could do it at beAScout.scouting.org - with the BSA # we can see which scout is connected

I just figured it out. I needed to have the parent log in using our invitation link from scouting, enter the BSA ID of the child and then pay and route to our pack. all set now. thanks!
