How to delete duplicate Scout account?

My son just moved up to BSA and I was attempting to give him access to his own account; however we have accidentally created a new account for him. The new duplicate account is 14206951.

The Help instructions say we need to delete this account before I can try again to link him properly to his existing account… but they don’t say how to delete an account. Can anyone help?

Not sure where you are seeing that warning - this PDF says clearly how to make a log in account.

If you post your Scouts real MID (Member #) we can correct it

Yes I’m pretty sure that’s what we did, but somehow ended up with a duplicate account instead of matching. Now when I try to invite him to connect his account to mine, I get the error shown here:

His correct member ID (with all his Cub Scout history) is: 137528535

Thanks for the help.

@AndrewRichardson1 well you used a slightly different DOB - that is why a match did not show up - so you would want to check in Scoutbook the DOB - if wrong work with Council to correct it - but the accounts are fixed

That would explain it. His birthday is incorrect in the system. I’ll see about getting that fixed. Login is working now though!
