Is there any way to get notifications via email when new events are added to Scoutbook? I sometimes miss events for our pack that have been added to scoutbook because I don’t check it regularly. I’m trying to make a habit out of checking it at least once a week, but it would be much easier if I could get notifications when new events are added.
The person who sets them up can set reminders for given times in advance of the start or use the send now feature. Alternatively, you can subscribe to the calendar on your local device so the events display on your calendar.
@jacobfetzer’s recommendation to subscribe to the unit calendar is the best advice you’ll get for this. It’s really simple to set up, and then you get reminders based on whatever you’ve set up your defaults in your preferred calendar app.
With that said, a weekly “newsletter” email broadcast would be a nice feature.
