Automatically adding new scouts is in the backlog, but that cannot be added until after the legacy scoutbook calendar is completely turned off.

Yes, what we have been told it is functional now but killed by the SB calendar - it is just we cannot test it for the same reason
You can use the Feature Assistant Extension for Chrome and Firefox to quickly add new Scouts to existing calendar events. Search the Chrome or Firefox extension stores for Scoutbook. Note the Chrome extension does not work on mobile devices due to Google restrictions. The Firefox extension will work on Android devices but not Apple mobile devices due to an Apple restriction.

I am also having this issue.
Just go back to the old system. There is no way to see what everyone is saying . I can’t rsvp my son and myself. The old system, anyone that makes a comment, it can be seen by everyone and we can plan better. It is not a matter of bugs, it is poorly designed.
I am a den leader and created a calendar event for my den on the new calendar. When I created the event, I had the correct people added for the RSVP and had it set a reminder to go out ASAP. The reminder went out to all the people that I selected PLUS all Leaders in the pack. Instead of going out to the 18 contacts for adults in my den, it went out to 29 adults. When I pulled the event back up, it had all my parents in my den plus all the leaders of the pack. I took off the reminders as I do not want anymore emails going out, but each time I create an event, it includes the leaders of the pack after I click save but they are not there before.

The whole visual system was so much better before. Just click on the picture. Also, seeing at a first glance who will be there encourages scouts to sign up. Our troop has different leaders running different events, being able to see who has signed up makes it possible to plan without constant emails from key 3. One is an airline pilot that is not contactable for days at a time. I get the whole youth protection and privacy thing but this app is supposed to enable communication not hinder.

@ChristopherMartin17 try changing the dropdown in the upper right to parent/guardian of the scout you want to rsvp for.

@ChristopherMartin17 Have you tried a different device or browser (to eliminate that as a cause)?
Apparently, you have to be in parent mode, then there are dropdowns in the attendees section.
