Individual Advancement report not working

@ClayPak - you need to be on the unit page NOT the dashboard

@Stephen_Hornak - ok that works. The format is a little different but it generates the IAR. Thanks Stephen!

@ClayPak - you are very welcome and finally an adult leader who can read and comprehend

Please go to the unit page in scoutbook then reports menu then look for Scous BSA Individual Advancement Record - that is the new version of the IAR

I am having the same issue. It says to report it as a bug. 4/14 @11:30 est.

@MaryPerkins1 - can you go the troop page in scoutbook, then reports then select the Scouts BSA Individual Advancement Record from the list.

I would love some guidance about running the alternate SBSA IAR. I go into my unit through my dashboard, then I don’t see a reports option until I go into a Scout’s record. From there I see the SBSA IAR as an option but it isn’t working. Any advice is welcome, thanks,

@ErikaDaly you have to be a unit Admin to see for a unit

This worked for me. It sends you to IA2 instead of the old Scoutbook where the “Individual Advancement Record” goes.

@Holly_AnneBalish - correct which is where scoutbook classic will eventually move its functionality to.

I get the error message when trying to get an individual advancement report for a Scout trying to put together his Eagle App. I’ve tried multiple ways
from the scouts profile, from the troop reports menu, and the BSA Scouting Individual record is listed as I am the advancement chair, but it won’t do anything when I click on it. Please fix BSA, ASAP!

@SarahLandis The Eagle Scout application form should automatically fill in based on the information in Scoutbook. You or the Scout should be able to run the Eagle Scout Application from inside Scoutbook.

This is still working for me, so it seems like some sort of local issues that are impacting various folks, rather than a generalized outage for everyone.

I couldn’t tell from your post whether you had tried a private browsing/incognito window (i.e. with all plugins/add-ons disabled. I’ve had things like my antivirus/anti-malware interfere with SB/SB+ things before, and turning them off temporarily has helped as a work-around.

Similarly, what browser(s) have you tried? Ideally a web service should be 100% browser neutral, but since that’s often not feasible (given the ongoing out-of-phase changes that browsers undergo), there are sometimes browser-dependent issues that can only be found when folks report an issue, and the browser in use can be identified.

All of this helps identify whether it’s a general outage, an adverse interaction with one or more local plugins, a browser incompatibility issue (which has also bitten me on occasion after a browser upgrade), or something else that requires more in-depth investigation.
