yep I bet that is your whole issue - go to my.scouting.org (for the one you want to keep) > click Menu top left > click manage member ID > enter in the second one and council and make sure PRIMARY is set to the one you want
that one is already set as primary in the one i want to keep
yeah but you have to merge the other one to it
I cannot add either number to either account I get an error
Are they from different councils? I had to select the council name first before it would agree the second BSA ID for linking my ID numbers.
The one says NA and the other is my current council
I can now access internet advancement, but none of what was logged into scoutbook has been added to internet advancement
Make sure that “Individual Activities” are turned on in the dropdown menu. Otherwise, it defaults (IIRC) to only showing the group activities. All activities logged in Scoutbook were apparently brought in as Individual activities.
yeah - SB always stored things as individual - the quick entry kind of hid it but they were always for just one scout. That is one major upgrade to this new system though
Me too. I can’t get any help. I too have 2 member IDs due to a mess up when signing up. I’m a Den Leader and this is so frustrating
send in email to Scoutbook.support@scouting.org - include your name, BSA #, Unit with the issue, Council - and of course explain the issue
It worked for me.
