I’m new to using Scoutbook/Internet Advancements. Last time I did this was when my oldest was in Cub Scouts almost 10 years ago.
I’ve been able to input advancements in IA, but not in Scoutbook. Today was my second time inputting our pack’s advancements in IA. I generated a report to print and when I clicked on it, it opened a new window with an error and I can’t get the report back (or any other report). The history is blank as well.
Any ideas what I’m doing wrong or is it a system thing? I tried three different browsers with the same results.
Your positions are not approved in Scoutbook. You need a Pack Admin to approve your positions / roles in Scoutbook.
In addition, if you plan to use Internet Advancement, it would be best if your pack’s leadership added you as Unit Advancement Chair at my.Scouting (using the Position Manager). You will need to wait for an overnight process to run, but you will be a Pack Admin in Scoutbook the next day.

Thanks for the reply. I see they my roles as only “Committee Member” so that’s likely the problem. I’ve asked the admins to adjust my role and hopefully that works. Thanks again, Sam.
