This is happening to several of our new parents. I turned in their scout’s registration to council and they are added to Scoutbook. Then I add the parent, make the connection and send them an invitation to connect. This invitation contains a username, but no temporary password. Instead, it instructs the parent to use the “forgot password” link. However, when they do this, it takes them to my.scouting.org and they have to search for a unit. It’s absolutely futile. Some have created accounts, I can’t find those accounts to connect them to scout. It’s a mess. HELP!
There is no ‘searching for a unit’ whenever I’ve gone through a forgot password flow. Do you have any screenshots or more information on the experience?
