I’m assuming you’ve already verified that their name (including middle name and spelling) and birthdate all match between both my.scouting and Scoutbook? That’s a common source of conflict. We had someone whose middle initial was added during a recharter cycle, and it took forever before we noticed the difference.

The approval date was not on the Scout’s record. It should have come over when the Scout did. We simply added it.
In the future you can try
Click on the Scout’s name
Click on the Scout’s membership
Click on the Scout’s current membership in the unit
Uncheck position approved on current membership
click update
Click on the Scout’s current membership in the unit again
Uncheck position approved on current membership
Recheck position approved on current membership
click update
