Is There an Easy Fix for Scoutbook Not Seeing Scout After Charter Posting?

Charter went through this past week. Scout record is now showing in Scoutbook with warning banner:

“XXX has not been matched with a Scout in your Units official roster. Please check with your council.”

I confirmed same Member ID is showing on our Roster in my.scouting unit tools.

Before I bug my registrar (again!) is there some silver bullet solution?

Thanks in advance!

I’m assuming you’ve already verified that their name (including middle name and spelling) and birthdate all match between both my.scouting and Scoutbook? That’s a common source of conflict. We had someone whose middle initial was added during a recharter cycle, and it took forever before we noticed the difference.

Rob,
This should be corrected now, please check again.

Charley, thanks! It is fixed now…but, I did not notice any differences…

Bill (?), thanks! It is corrected…if you have time, and this was something on our end, what was the issue, please?

Rob,
The approval date was not on the Scout’s record. It should have come over when the Scout did. We simply added it.

In the future you can try
Click on the Scout’s name
Click on the Scout’s membership
Click on the Scout’s current membership in the unit
Uncheck position approved on current membership
click update

Click on the Scout’s current membership in the unit again
Uncheck position approved on current membership
Recheck position approved on current membership
click update

More information is here:

Bill

Got it, thanks! I did check that his membership was approved, but did not cycle it to reset.

Have a great day
