This scout was registered within our Pack last year but sometime in the fall of 2020, he stopped showing up. He was included in our recharter and it all went through, but he’s still not showing up.
As Pack Committee Chair, I can see him as a connection from my profile’s connections, but when I click on his name, it takes me to the login screen. When I click on his brother’s profile (BSA ID#133615947), he shows up as a parent for his brother.

You are now connected to the Scout. For some reason his positions did not sync properly last night, however, since this is a pack, he need to be put into a den. You may want to wait until after 4:00 PM Central today to do this as the overnight sync may have not finished properly and it could be completed at the 3:00 PM sync.
You will also need to connect him to the other leaders in your pack.
Sorry, I did not see your message until after I already added Nicholas back to his den. I’ll wait until after 4pm to make any more changes. Presumably, the sync should repopulate Nicholas’ advancement, correct?
We do not see any advancement for Nicholas recorded in Akela and based on his last name and date of birth, he does not have a duplicate account. Because of this, there is nothing to sync advancements from.
That’s really odd. He’s been with our pack since he was a Lion. I’ll follow up with his den leaders and see if we can rebuild his advancement. Thanks for your help!
Could he have had a different BSA Member ID? We have seen cases where a Scout was registered with the wrong date of birth or name and when it was corrected a new member ID was created.
Last we heard they were still looking but had not found anything - sorry. At least it is Cub Stuff and can be cobbled together easier than Merit Badges.
Donovan, I am having the exact same issue with a scout that was registered during rechartering. He was a transfer, but we included a new application with the rechartering. He shows up in the My Connections area, but when I click on his name, it takes me to the login screen. Please help me too!
