We are experiencing an issue where nonadmin parent troop leaders can only message leaders and their own families via Scoutbook. Only admins and leaders without a parent account can message all unit users, including all parents and scouts.
The toggle to switch users similar to Scoutbook Plus has been replaced with a refresh wheel, so this is not an option.
Permissions only deal with scout visibilitity, advancement, etc.
Why is this and how do we change it? Thanks!
@TimothyCampbell2 - go to connection manager and make sure they are connected to all scouts with view profile and view advancement at the troop roster
it should look like this
A View Profile connection to all Scouts is required to send a message to the Scouts. Use Connection Manager from the Troop Roster page in legacy Scoutbook. Click the adult’s name then select View Profile or above.
You can use the Permissions by Position feature of the Feature Assistant for Chrome and Firefox to automate this process. Search the Chrome or Firefox extension stores for Scoutbook.
