I've been removed from my den leader role in scoutbook

My permissions have been removed after 4 years of being a den leader. My scouting ID is 12034507. Can someone help me?

@ChadHanna - what shows in your registered positions in my.scouting.org ?

@ChadHanna you have not been a registered leader since 2019 - and never a den leader - you were Committee member - probably need to turn in a new application to Crossroads

I’ve uploaded my past positions. Something happened on April 12, 2021.

I need to be reinstated as den 7 leader.

@ChadHanna - the key here is being registered with the unit/council in my.scouting.org

What are your positions there…

@ChadHanna - yes - you are not registered - and I see no others under this name

Treasurer and den 7 leader.

@ChadHanna past Scoutbook positions really do not mean a thing - as they were not official in the past - you need to talk to unit Key 3

Sorry, what is unit Key 3?

@ChadHanna - Cubmaster, Committee Chair, Charter Organization Rep

Certainly not a bug

The short form is that all unit leaders (which includes den leaders and treasurers) are supposed to be registered with the council. It appears that, for whatever reason, your registration was never processed by the council. There are a lot of reasons that could have happened. Prior to April 12, units were able to add (in Scoutbook) leader positions to any adult. This did not, however, register those adults for those positions.

As @DonovanMcNeil and @Stephen_Hornak have already noted, the shortest path to getting you registered and back to your den leader role is through talking to your unit Key 3 leadership and ensuring that they register you to serve in the role selected. For reference, the BSA does not permit adults to register in more than one position for a single unit, unless that person is the Chartered Organization Representative, who is also permitted to co-register as either a committee member or, I think, Committee Chair. Everyone else may only be registered in a single position for a given unit.
