Lion/Tiger parents with double accounts

We have Lion/Tiger parents who, after their child has been registered, submit an Adult Application so they can be on the Committee. This often results in a double BSA ID# in Scoutbook. Council advised me to contact scoutbook support, which is no longer available. How can I merge these accounts so that the parents do not appear twice in our roster and can easily receive emails?

This typically happens when the adult’s name in Scoutbook does not match the name on the adult application (ex: Joe vs. Joseph).
