I have been doing all Advancement for our Troop. This season I no longer have the option for Advancement in the pull down menu. I am the Asst Scoutmaster and had to have Council set up my access when Scoutbook started. Now it seems to have reverted and locked me out. My Council has not been able to help resolve this. Whom do I need to contact to give me access? Thanks, Walter
@WalterRastetter It appears that you had been designated as Unit Advancement Chair at my.scouting, but that functional role ended on February 29, 2020. I am guessing that your functional role ended when your unit rechartered.
You need to ask one of the troop’s Key 3 (Scoutmaster, Committee Chair, or Chartered Org. Rep.) or another Troop Admin to make you a Troop Admin again.

I was using Scoutbook.Scouting.org but just tried advancements.scouting.org which took me to the same scoutbook and had the same issue.
Our SM & CC have never used scoutbook, I have been the only one doing the updates but I’ll have them create a login and try. Thanks.
Ah! It looks like your browser is still hitting Internet Advancement at scoutbook.scouting.org. Try using an incognito/private browsing window and see if that gets you to the Scoutbook interface instead of the Internet Advancement interface.
Jennifer’s email was on the money. Somehow I expired during rechartering. The CC was able to make me the Advancement Chair again and now I have Advancement back in the drop down menu. Thanks all for your help and getting me back in business… Walter
Yeah… all of the positions in the unit expire at recharter except for the Key 3. One of those people (COR, Comittee Chair, or Scoutmaster) needs to reset all of the other positions in my.scouting.org after every recharter.
