My husband and I use his account to log progress in out den. His member ID is 140158729. When I logged in this morning to check off requirements completed for last night’s adventure, there was no “Roster” option on the left menu screen. He was logged in as a den leader but the screen is showing as if he is logged in as a parent.
@JenniferCriner I Assume you are logging into SB+? There was a major change yesterday to access - - your unit needs to take action - please have leader watch video - Video Guide for this new SB+ Permission System
Yes SB+ and Thank you!!
I have a permissions error as my Den Leader is unable to view their den roster… They are properly listed as a den leader in their positions and assigned to a den. Per the video, that means they should already have the permissions. How do we review that error and determine what is the cause of the problem? If I also have to assign them Den Support, that means that the default permissions as stated in the PDF did not assign.
@MartinMcNichols you can post a member # (no names) and we can look
Sure thing. He is 140843041
@MartinMcNichols first guess looking - the Den Admin position is assigned to den and it is dead - the DL position is NOT assigned to a unit. - I can see everything - We are discussing and thinking it through
I don’t know how to post a screen shot without pii, (i could edit the name in inspector but…) on the roster, he is an assigned adult for the den and his registered position is the den leader position. If this is not enough for the new RBAC system and I instead have to give him den support as well, how does that fit with the new UX? It feels like duplicative work…
@MartinMcNichols on the not seeing the scout - have them go to Roster > top right Filter > click Filter Reset - this is an issue from 2 weeks ago.
The Den Leader seems fine as I sign in as him in order to function.
Thank you Donovan. I must not have searched well enough. I will follow up with him. I appreciate the help. As a side note, is there a way to get more involved with SB+? I am the council’s go-to guy for local help, but I only know the parts of the application I can interact with.
@MartinMcNichols SUAC does have a Council Champions Program if you are interested - it is a recognized group that help their council with SB advice and knowledge.
Donovan,
I am interested in this program. Please let me know where to look to join this program. Thank you for your assistance.
Martin
