Logging in and connecting for first time

We have a parent that is unable to log into Scoutbook and connect to their scout. They get a message that either the email address or BSA number or both are incorrect. They can log into my.scouting.org but not Scoutbook. When they click on the forgot password option it takes them to a my.scouting.org page that does not reset the password.

We need the parent’s BSA member number or Scoutbook user ID (found on the Edit Profile page) in order to take a look.
