Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I am an advancement chair for two linked units and can no longer login to Scoutbook Plus. I keep getting the “Unable to find the user for the given userId” error.
I am still able to login via my.scouting.org and Scoutbook Legacy and my permissions according to our SMs are still set as active.
Your Manage Member ID (in my.scouting.org) seems to be right. First check that and make sure the correct one is primary. If it is change it and Save. Log out and back into my.scouting.org, and change Primary back to the right one. And try SB+ log in. You might also try a Legacy Scoutbook log in, then log into SB+
Following up as unfortunately, these items have not been resolved.
A while back I had a duplicate ID issue that had been resolved until, it would seem, yesterday. It appears as though some one in the system (not sure if at council level or national) disconnected my account (ID140711871) from Scoutbook Plus.
When I toggle back in my.scouting.org to my ID 132346818, I have access in Scoutbook Plus HOWEVER all of my profile details including membership expiration, training records, and most importantly right now, my ability to add activities for BOTH my units disappears. Strangely, I am however able to still update advancements.
When I toggle back in my.scouting.org to my ID140711871, Scoutbook Plus gives me the errors that reference userID14307663 and I am unable to enter the site.
TLDR:
I need help fully restoring ID140711871 on Scoutbook Plus; Keep MCC ID132346818 and Erie Shores ID140921851.
I am not sure who altered my set up in these past couple of hours OR how to set things right again.
Checking in ~ any update from the developers? I have a COH that I am trying to put together and these restrictions on my access are making the processing of rank/awards very challenging.
