I am the Committee Chair for both a girls and boys troop. Last week I clicked on the link from Scoutbook to My Scouting, When I got to my scouting it made me enter my email address to my account in my scouting I don’t know why it needed it because it had been there previously. It would not let me go any further until I added it. Once I added it and saved all of a sudden I had a new BSA id and all kinds of trouble. I lost all access in Scoutbook, It looks like I am a brand new user without even connection to my son’s account. I can access Internet Advancement and see all my scouts. I also still have access to my scouting and all of my troops information. I have worked with my local council and they merged the two BSA ids back to one. I am just using that id. The council can’t help me anymore. It’s so very frustrating. Hopefully someone here can help.
