We have an issues where the MBC cannot sign off in Scoutbook.

The issue is with both the Emergency Preparedness and First Aid MBs.
The Emergency Preparedness is the more pressing as we have a physical blue card for First Aid but the current MBC was finishing off a previously started MB.
Of note, my daughter is dual registered but only registered in Scoutbook with her primary troop, while I am registered as a leader with her secondary troop but not the primary (so we can see events in and information for the secondary troop).
We do this because Scoutbook doesn’t support dual registration across councils.
The MBC is quite experienced and said it was a technical issue in Scoutbook and contacted his council (which is different from both of ours) for help, but is still waiting more than 2 weeks later. I will contact him again and find the exact problem.
Based on issues that have come up in my unit and others, folks who are used to the “old” method are going to My Connections, then to the scout, then to their advancement/MBs, and erroring out as they try to “enter” the scout’s page. I expect that Donovan and Jennifer have hit the nail on the head that it’s not a bug, but rather enforcing the intended workflow that’s causing the issue.
