We have a new advancement chair, in our troop the SM approves beginning a merit badge and the AC will assign counselor. We have never had an issue, now, the AC can only see merit badge counselors from our troop, is there a setting or permissions somewhere we are missing.

He has Committee Member, Advancement Chair, and Troop admin rights?

@ChrisRamsey did you make them a Scoutbook Advancement Chair or did you use the correct way and a Key 3 go to my.scouting.org - Organization Manager - Functional Roles to give them the role? And the MBC Search experience is different with the Feature Extension downloaded and turned on
