Membercare ticket questions for "no organization available" registration issue

Has anyone been able to get their council to submit a Membercare ticket related to issues re-registering and “No organizations for renewal are active”? Is there recommended wording that should be included in this ticket, that I can let my council know so that the process goes faster/smoother?

Others have mentioned we have a 60 day grace period, but can someone explain how that works? Will I be able to submit completed activities and other completed requirements towards scout’s ranks during that grace period for those scouts who are unable to re-register now?

I wanted to comment on the other open tickets but they were all closed so I am starting a new thread.

@ThomasEdwards4 for membercare ticket - give your council as detailed (but brief not overly worded - direct) explanation of what you saw - something they can copy/paste easy . Include screenshots.

On the 60 days - it is basically a membership extension so there is no effect in SB+ for use.

Hi to all

A few member of my council had this issue. Question this is a bug or is something that tour council must take action.

@OmarLopez1

You need to contact your council for assistance. No one on the forums is from the team that handles renewals and they only accept bug reports from Council staff.

We’re working with council on this. Is there a consensus that it’s related to a unit renewal? In our case, the errors started as soon as we submitted our unit renewal, which is still listed as “pending”. I got a hold of someone at council to expedite that approval in the hopes that our individual renewals will start going again.

We have word from Scouting America IT that this issue was fixed at about 9:30 AM Central Monday, December 29. Please try to renew again.

I can confirm that I was now able to renew registration for both adults and scouts.

That was really bad timing with this bug! However I am glad they were able to finally correct it.
