Attempting renewal for adult membership and receiving this message after clicking renew on my.scouting.org.
“No organizations for renewal are active.”
Unit 1804 status is renewed and active so idk why we are getting this. Adult shows connected in the troop (and is scoutmaster). Any help would be appreciated!

@PatrickJackson2 this is a matter to report to council - so they can turn in an National Membercare ticket
My request is similar but not the same as the original post. I am trying to renew my grandchild. In their my.scouting profile I can find the registration but when I click on it I received the same error message. When I called San Diego Imperial Council earlier in the week they told me that ALL registrations go through the my.scouting now. Is there something more that I need to tell them when I call back?
Thanks,
Keith
@KeithSchoenthal,
It’s important to point out to the folks at council that there’s an error being produced when you try to re-register your scout, and can they please submit a MemberCare ticket to national on your behalf. This is not something that the Scoutbook support team can assist with. See if you can get hold of Elora. She’s our registrar, and might have access to a registrar-specific support forum where she might get additional information on the issue.
I am having a similar problem. My council is closed for the holiday and I am not sure when they open again. My son’s renewal expires on 12/31/25.
Unfortunately, there’s literally nothing the folks on these boards can do. Fortunately, there is a 60-day grace period for renewals, so there should be adequate time after the various council and national staff gets back to address whatever the underlying issue is.
I get the same error message, too. Will try I guess to ask my council to submit a ticket but not sure there’s anybody there until after new year, at which point my son’s registration will have expired.
@ScottLane- there is a 60 day grace period
@PatrickJackson2 on your issue - what I see in the Database is that the Recharter process is not started
That is odd. On my.scouting.org I see as renewed. We also have the printed certificate given to us by council. Any ideas what is happening?
Donovan - not knowing what your access is… Are you able to check on Troop 319 from the San Diego Imperial Council? Their Troop Committee Chair is stating that they HAVE renewed.
@KeithSchoenthal our tool says neither has started - BUT with all this going on we are uncertain at what our tool is reading - there is a problem somewhere (rather sure not this tool) - it was reading from right place before some changes - but we are starting to guess the place that records Recharter changed - BUT it was not redirected for our tool OR the registration system perhaps.
All renewal issues must be reported via your local council.
