Merge ID Numbers

New member id from appication is 142039848. He apparently created a separate ID number 142040237 when he took his SYT training. Can you merge and bring over the SYT completion?

the user can log into my.scouting.org > Click Manage Member ID > one of the BSA # will be there marked PRIMARY > as long as the info is the same then add the other MID (BSA #) - you want to make the one that is your unit registration PRIMARY. If it fails SUAC can help as all the personal Info has to match - all training merges to the Primary one

@AJWesseler Member ID numbers cannot be merged, they can only be managed. Users can Manage Member ID at my.Scouting, but only if their name and date of birth match exactly. However, Scoutbook userIDs can be merged.

In this case, the user’s first name is misspelled under MID 142039848, but the local council can fix that with their Registrar Tools.

Attempting to give access to Scoutbook for my son. Unfortunately I made another BSA number 142165814 for him. Please merge 142165814 with 136749308. Please make 136749308 as the primary BSA number. Thank you.

Well I see why it produced a new BSA account. I have the wrong DOB on his primary account.

@Butch-Moldenhauer I assume the date on registration is correct? ##/23/##?

No the date should be ##/24/####

@Butch-Moldenhauer then going to council is going to be better to get this cleaned up - talk to the registrar - they can fix it all fast

Thank you, I just save the contact info to call them tomorrow.

@Butch-Moldenhauer actually I think it is all fixed - have council check again though

@DonovanMcNeil Just got back from the Troop meeting. Yes it is fixed. Thank you so much!!!
