Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
Hello, We have a Parent / Leader that is under 2 member IDs. His parent BSA Member ID (121602528) is associated with son, which is fine. Somehow a new BSA Member ID (130580879) was created for him. The problem is that while his Parent BSA Member ID has his email address corrrect, the new BSA Member ID has the same email address.
We want to keep the 121602528 Member ID and delete the 130580879. Is this even possible? What will happen when we do that?
Further note, that the 130580879 has always showed as pending in our Troop and Pack, as if it has never been registered properly.
Donovan, thank you for updating that. How do I merge information form all my BSA Member IDs? E.g. I have 130580879 (Utah), 121602528 (Virginia), and 110152462 (Delaware). I have training information from Virginia that I would like to carry over in Utah.
@DavidCook9 log into my.scouting.org > click Menu top left > Click Manage Member ID > one of the BSA # will be there marked PRIMARY > then add the other MID (BSA #) - you want to make the one that is your unit registration PRIMARY > Then go to Scoutbook.com and log in using your my.scouting.org credentials - seems like training merges in an hour or so - sometimes you have to make the one with training Primary - NOTE: Primary MID logs you into THAT MIDs scoutbook account though - so 130580879 is what you want primary
@DavidCook9 Try making your Virginia BSA member number primary for 24 hours, and then your training should be merged onto your Utah (primary) BSA member number.
