Need help merging a scouts account that has become an ASM. Scout somehow has 3 accounts

- have working username and password

- no membership or training

- just made this primary

- did the training here (youth protection)

- no username or password unless making it primary solves that problem

- active membership

- believe this has his eagle rank, etc

- no access to this info

@JohnBrown5 I have merged this user’s Scoutbook accounts. I would recommend having the user check back tomorrow, after the overnight sync runs.

This user’s relationships are messed up (he shows as both “Father of” and also “Son of” his father). Because this user is an adult now, the parent / child relationships can probably be removed. The local council can fix the relationships with their Registrar Tools.

Thanks so much. He is a junior and his dad’s an ASM also. I suspect that’s what happened.

Google afternoon.

I have a Scouter with the ID 136029616 and 142295687. I don’t know if the council merge both numbers, but the Scout doesn’t appear on the scoutbook plus roster.

@OmarLopez1 I have switched the member ID number on the Scout’s scoutbook account.

I must wait 24 hours or it will be reflected immediately.

@OmarLopez1 You should be able to see the Scout now, but you might need to do a hard page reload using your browser. You could also try resetting the filter on the Roster page.

Not in reference to the above, but can you please check 141034150? When I try and transfer this scout in, it says no membership ID found. Does this scout need to renew their national membership first, wait 24 hours and try again?

MID 141034150 is registered in a different Council. The Scout’s parents can transfer the Scout to your troop.

Yes, that is the issue. They initiate the transfer and get an error. I initiate the transfer and get a member id error. Guess we should do a paper application transfer?
