Merge two member ID's

Hello,

I had a parent try to renew their youths registration and ended up creating a new one instead. So the new one is current and the old one is set to expire and has all the scouts’ rank info. Could someone merge two youth memberships for me please?

Is there anyway to do this besides asking council? I had this happen with a scout and council says there is no fixing it. I know that there is a way to fix it since it happened to my son when we moved and the den leader here just made him a whole new account.

Member IDs can’t be merged, only managed. The Council can move the registration from the “new” MID to the “old” MID provided both are in the same Council. This must be done by your Council.

@LaurenRutland Scoutbook accounts can be merged, but member ID numbers can only be managed.
