I was working with two scouts on Cycling MB last summer. Neither did the last 50-mile requirement.
I recently checked, and now I only see one.
I asked the SM of the missing scout to check, and she still sees me linked to the scout on that end.
How do I restore the link so I can finish her badge? (yes, it’s a girl).
Look under my dashboard > administration > my account > my connections. Do you see her? What connection types?

I usually look in Dashboard > Edit merit badges for MB Counselors > [merit badge] and that’s where she is missing.
I have no relation to either troop. I’m only an MBC
(and district commissioner which give me NO unit-level access).
On that page, all other candidates for Cycling and other MBs are all correct.

When you click on her connection, is the MBC box checked?
NO. I just noticed that. All other connections have an “approve MB” link. On hers, that is missing; all I see is “View Profile”
It sounds like they just need to reset your link to the Scout. Ask them to:
- Go to the Troop Roster page
- Click on the Scout’s name
- Click on Scout’s Connections
- Click on your name.
- Make sure the box is checked for Merit Badge Counselor
- Make sure the box is checked for Cycling.
- Then click Update
OK. Who is “they”? the SM? the parent? someone at national?
Any unit admin can do this. They are identified by 2 keys next to their name in the unit roster. Usually the Scoutmaster, Committee Chair and Charter Org Rep are all unit admins.
