Merit Badge Counselor - Not connecting in Scoutbook plus

Hello ,

Can you please help understand the issue as I am not able to find option to connect Merit counselor via Scoutbook plus , Option “Assign Counselor” is blur and not showing any option

I tried checking via parent and youth account. I am able to see merit badge counselor connected via legacy not plus

@AANCHALBUDHIRAJA - there is a counselor listed in legacy for this merit badge? Have you tried an incognito session? It should list the counselor under the assign button if there is a counselor assigned

Hello Stephen, I have the Name and BSA ID for Merit badge counselor but not able to assign as that option is blur. I tried the incognito session as well but still the issue same. Does Scoutmaster need to assign the Counselor for merit badge first?

@AANCHALBUDHIRAJA - i would make sure to do this as the parent profile and not the scout login. Typically it is the scoutmaster that would do this. Did I read correctly that you said the counselor is showing as a connection in legacy scoutbook.

Hello Stephen,

Connection is showing up in Legacy but not in plus. When I am trying to connect merit badge counselor via parent profile, it is showing following error. But I as parent is already connected to youth with full editable access

I believe the root cause of the issue you are seeing is the connection in Legacy Scoutbook but not in Scoutbook Plus. We will need to have the developers invetigate.

@AANCHALBUDHIRAJA I think the issue was that you had 2 Scoutbook accounts and they were both using the same member ID number. The Scoutbook accounts have been merged.

Please try again tomorrow (after the overnight sync runs).
